What is updated
The Battery Firmware package file battery-27100027-ifiles.zip contains two Battery Firmware packages revision 0x00d3. There is one Battery Firmware package for each battery supplier Nexergy and Energy Sales.

Installation prerequisites
To install the Battery Firmware, you need to have access to the following device:

A Web server on a network accessible to your storage controller’s Service Processor.
Identify a location on the web server to save the Battery Firmware package referenced as <Battery_Firmware_File_Location>, this url location must be less than 100 characters.

Downloading the BIOS/BMC/Diagnostics image
To download the Battery Firmware zip package to <Battery_Firmware_File_Location> on the web server, complete the following steps:

Step	Action
1	Click on battery-27100027-ifiles.zip to download the file from the NetApp Support Site, and save the file on your Web server.
2	Unzip the Battery Firmware packages using the Winzip application using the existing file names.
3	Follow the instructions for updating the battery firmware detailed in KBarticle 2016592
